eKavach does the backup automatically from the customer’s machine without any manual intervention.
Backup at strict regular intervals
eKavach ensures that the backups are taken at regular intervals as scheduled without any failure unlike manual backup where it is very difficult to continue backup at strict regular intervals in long run.
Offsite backup
Offers offsite backup which means keeping a copy of backed-up data in a remote location so that in case of any damage of the business premises (fire, theft, etc) data can be easily restored. It may also help in resuming business from another location in case the infrastructure is completely destroyed.
Encrypted backup
Encrypts all the data before sending out of the customer’s system so that nobody else than the customer - not even YON employees - can read the data. We provide a combination of user Id, password and an unique encryption key for the customer so that only he/she can have the access over the data. Some of the encryption algorithms
offered by eKavach are AES (256 bit, 192 bit, 128 bit), Blowfish, TDES and DES. When the customer tries to restore the data from eKavach server, after restoration the data get decrypted by the same encryption key that is available only with our customers.
Incremental backup
Performs incremental backup for better usage of resources which backs up only the increased amount of data since the last backup done. This helps our customers to save both network bandwidth and time.
Multiple versions of files
On request we offer the option of maintaining multiple versions of files so that when required user can get the older state of data without wastage of time.

Offers online as well as offline data backup provision as per the convenience of the customers.

Since eKavach is a disk based backup system the recovery of the data can be done instantly. This lets our customers recover data as per their requirement from a set of files & folders to the complete data set online.
For a large data set when online recovery may take a long time, YON customer support team can take the encrypted data set in a hard disk and carry it to the customer. They can recover the data at customers place with his/her unique key within a fixed time. This helps our customer to save both time and internet bandwidth.
